AUSTIN, Texas - On a two-lane mountain road that bends through trees and cut rock, a Cybercab holds the lane. For about 35 seconds of passenger-seat video, the asphalt curves ahead while the unsupervised two-seater stays quiet and upright. A thin red ambient strip runs the dash. Music plays on the wide center screen. Legs rest in the open footwell. A striped bag sits on the seat. Outside the glass, the hard road keeps winding.

The camera sits at rider eye level. Through the windshield the pavement turns right past green hillsides, a yellow curve warning, and rock walls. Motion blur on the trees shows real speed, not a parked demo. The layout is the same passenger-first Cybercab already taking fares in Austin: butterfly-door cabin, open forward space, and software holding the bends.

Gail Alfar shared the clip Friday with a plain caption: "Tackling challenging curves on mountain roads with Cybercab." On Saturday, Tesla's official Robotaxi account quote-tweeted the same footage. @robotaxi wrote, "A comfortable ride wherever it takes you." The official read is comfort that travels with the route, not only on flat city blocks.

Urban hail clips already showed the gold coupe picking people up downtown. A winding road is a different stress test for the same product. Lane shape changes fast. Sight lines shorten around rock cuts. The hard geometry is outside the glass. Inside, the cabin stays passenger-first: music still on the center screen while the car tracks the curve. Together, the tip and the quote tweet put that claim on camera. The ride does not change when the map stops being a grid.

That contrast is why the mountain setting matters for riders who already know the product from city blocks. Downtown hail proves the unsupervised coupe can arrive, open the doors, and move people through traffic. The mountain clip answers a quieter question: does the same cabin still feel calm when the road itself becomes the challenge. In the frames, the answer is visual. The body stays composed through the bends. The passenger space does not turn into a driver station for a harder route.

Austin remains where the public can open the Robotaxi app and hail a Cybercab today. The mountain video does not open a new city for unsupervised hail. It shows the same two-seater that shows up for a downtown pickup taking switchbacks, then getting a comfort shout from the official account. For riders already booking here, that is useful color: the unsupervised cabin that works on Congress Avenue is the one holding mountain asphalt in the tip footage.

Supervised Model Y robotaxi rides remain a separate hardware story even when both products appear under the Robotaxi brand. The car on this road is Cybercab. The news is concrete and smaller than hype: an unsupervised cabin on curving mountain asphalt, shared by Alfar and lifted by @robotaxi as proof that comfort travels with the car.
