The outer edge of the Cybercab’s wheel covers is rubber
The gold aero disc looks solid. The ring against the tire is a rubber lip. You can peel it back from the Continental.

The gold wheel cover on a Cybercab looks like a hard dish. The outer edge is not. The ring that sits against the tire is a rubber lip. Lift it and the cover peels away from the sidewall.
Tesla has not published a spec on this. Production cars in Texas and Austin already have it. A rigid aero cap would chip on curbs and ramps and then grind the tire. Rubber flexes, fills the gap, and keeps the cover on the wheel.
The rest of the cover is the painted gold face with a shallow dimple in the center. The tire in these photos is a Continental. The lip is easy to miss until someone pulls it.
