The Staging Map: Cybercab Is Already Parking Where the Next Cities Are

DALLAS - On Tuesday, the most telling Cybercab photos were not taken in Austin.

In Dallas, an X user who posts as @durai_ashwin08 photographed two Cybercabs at the Westmoreland Supercharger, one of them parked right next to him. "Cybercab launch is almost here!" he wrote. Within hours and more than 1,300 miles away, Robotaxi Radar posted a gold Cybercab charging at a Wawa in North Bergen, N.J., about seven miles south of what it calls the Englewood Cybercab hub.
These are not ride photos. Nobody hailed those cars. They are charging stops, and charging stops are logistics. A Cybercab that tops up at a Dallas Supercharger or a 24-hour Wawa is a car that is spending real working hours on that city's roads. That is what getting ready looks like from the curb.

Dallas is already on the record. Tesla AI chief Ashok Elluswamy said this month that Dallas is next for Cybercab, and the message was repeated at X Takeover at Giga Texas. Robotaxi Radar, sharing the Westmoreland photos, said more Cybercabs were popping up in Dallas and called the launch imminent.
New Jersey is not on any announced list, which is what makes the North Bergen photo worth a second look. Radar's running sightings map, updated on Tuesday, counts 229 locations in 27 states plus Washington, D.C. Many are one-off pins. A charging stop a few miles from a known cluster is something steadier: cars that are working in the area, not passing through.
Austin shows what comes after staging. Tesla says more than 300 Cybercabs now serve the city, eight times the fleet of a month earlier. That scale did not appear from nowhere. Austin had months of sightings, test loops and charging stops before the public could book a ride.
So read this week's charging stops as a map. Tesla will name its next cities on its own schedule. The staging is happening in public, one Supercharger stall at a time.
