Tesla Cast the Cybercab Badge in the Car’s Own Skin
Exclusive Access “Golden Ticket” credentials matched the champagne panels on the launch floor. The invite was metal, not paper.

AUSTIN, Texas - Tesla did not hand Exclusive Access guests a laminated pass. It handed them a Golden Ticket stamped in the same material as Cybercab’s exterior panels.
Photos from Thursday’s launch night show the credential held up against a production Cybercab on the floor: matte champagne metal, “EXCLUSIVE ACCESS” across the top, jagged CYBERCAB lettering, “Golden Ticket” in the middle, TESLA spaced along the bottom, black lanyard through a single punch hole. Behind the badge, a gold two-seater faces a stage screen that reads CYBERCAB LAUNCH DAY.
The detail is small and deliberate. Tesla built a souvenir that feels like a swatch of the car - same finish, same color family, same insistence that the night was about the vehicle, not a paper wristband. Guests who already rode the wheel-less cab left with a piece of its skin in their pocket.
It fits the tone of the evening. Exclusive Access was invite-only, celebration-heavy, light on livestream. The badge is the keepsake version of that pitch: you were in the room with the production Cybercab, and the ticket matches the paint.
